Our primary shared E-mail solution includes Lotus Notes mail databases based on the standard Notes mail templates. These databases are widely used by our customers around the globe and include many standard features including:
In order to maintain a reliable and high performance environment, mail databases are not hosted on Domino servers running custom applications. Prominic runs dedicated mail servers, increasing uptime and providing better segmentation of our services.
With the release of Domino 7, we are now clustering all Domino 7 mail accounts at no additional charge to you. Your mail database will be set up on two separate Domino servers on two physically separate machines, resulting in much higher reliability and better uptime.

*Postini is the industry leader in E-mail security, and we are proud to partner with them to extend their services to our customers. Postini will filter spam out of your E-mail, and also integrates with the McAfee virus scanning engine, so messages containing viruses are quarantined before they ever reach your inbox. Postini has a one time activation fee of $30 for shared mail users, and then is only $1.50 / user / month.

The Domino Messaging Partition supports full use of the IBM Lotus Domino E-mail functionality including E-mail, calendaring, scheduling and collaborative applications such as the discussion forum, document library and any templates that come standard with the Domino server. This server does not include an entitlement to run Domino applications, so standard application hosting is not allowed. The Messaging Partition is licensed in the traditional user-based client-server model, where customers purchase a client access license (CAL) for each authenticated user of the server.
